Running Categories
The following categories will apply:
Men and women (separately categorised) grouped into 5-year age bands above the main category of the DLO.
Hanse Category
The Hanse category is a special team category. A maximum of 9 runners, female or male, can be registered as one Hanse (a small group of runners). However, only the six best net running times (aggregate times) are ranked. The name of the Hanse must be uniform in style and presentation. There are no stipulations in regard to age or sex for a Hanse; thus, a “mixed” Hanse is possible. Uniform clothing is recommended. The fastest Hanse group in each competition (10 km, HM, Marathon) will win an exclusive trip on the historic Hanse-Kogge (cog) on the Weser.
Operating Conditions
The 6th International swb-Bremen Marathon 2010 will operate according to the rules of the DLV (German Athletic Association) under the supervision of the BLV (Bremen Athletic Association).
Entry Conditions / Disclaimer
All persons born in or before 1992 and in possession of an official start number for the 6th swb-Marathon Bremen 2010 are eligible to enter. Club membership is not essential. Strictly no baby joggers.
Disclaimer: In submitting my application, I declare that I have undertaken sufficient training to participate in this competition, that I am physically fit and that my state of health has been attested by a doctor. I agree that the data submitted in my application, any photographs I may take, film shots and interviews given on radio or television, in advertisements, books or mechanically-duplicated materials, can be used and distributed without claim for payment on my part. I guarantee that my date of birth and the running time as stated by me are correct and that I shall not pass on my start number to any other person. I understand that I am liable to disqualification if I leave the official route or modify the start number in any way, in particular by removing or defacing the advertisement imprinted thereon, or if I allow myself to be accompanied by persons with sports equipment (inline blades, bicycles, or similar). In the case of non-participation on my part, cancellation of the sporting event or interruption of same through force majeure, I shall have no claim to a refund of my entry fees.
Timekeeping
Timekeeping is carried out exclusively via the RFID transponder chip has to be fixed on the shoe. The charge for timekeeping is included in the entry fee. For all competitions gross as well as net times are given. Interim times for the Marathon are taken at the 10 km, Half Marathon and 30 km stages.

Awards
Every successful female and male runner will receive a Finisher’s Medal at the finish line. Upon submission of the start number a certificate can be printed at the finish line.
Presentation Ceremony
A presentation ceremony will take place on the day of the event for the three fastest runners in each of the Marathon, HM and 10 km Run competitions. Time:Starting from 1:15 p.m.
Start Lines
Start lines will be set up according to expected race times.

Deadline for Registration
The deadline for applications is 03 September 2010, including postal applications (date as postmark). Charge for any subsequent changes €8.00.
Confirmation of Registration
Applicants will receive written confirmation of registration not later than 03 September 2010, together with the latest information for participants.

Late Registrations
Late registrations on site (in front of chamber of commerce) are possible on Friday 17.September 2010 between 5.30 p.m. and 8 p.m., on Saturday 18.September 2010 between 10.30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Sunday 19.September 2010 between 7.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. For organisational reasons, the Event Management reserves the right to limit or to refuse outright late registrations.
Start / Finish
Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km Run Start/Finish: Bremer Roland
Routes: All routes are run on a circular course with tarred surface; an entire circuit must be completed.
Route Profile
The routes are level and run through the City of Bremen. There are no ascents apart from bridges.
Start Documents
Start documents will be issued on Friday 17. September 2010 between 5.30 p.m. and 8 p.m., on Saturday 18. September 2010 between 10.30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Sunday 19. September 2010 between 7.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m in front of chamber of commerce
Changing Rooms / Showers
For women and for men are in the area of “Domshof”
Arrival / Parking / Accommodation
By Public Transport: From Bremen Main Line Station (Exit “City”) take S-Line 4 to “Schüsselkorb”, walk in direction to the Café Alex and then go ahead to the Dom. On the right side you can see the “Roland”, there is the Start/Finish area.
By car: Arrival via A27: Exit "Universität", follow the signs for "Universität". P+R services operate from the university car parks. Travel time approximately 12 min. Limited parking also on the Bürgerweide directly in front of the AWD-Dome.

Children’s Run
The children’s run will take place on 18.September 2010 at 4 p.m.by the Roland. The distance to be run is approximately 800 m. Every child will receive a souvenir medal at the finish. There are no age categories. A participation fee of 3 € is to be paid on the day of the event. Registration via www.sportziel.de
